Female Betta

My female betta has a big while thing hanging out of her stomach. It looks like a bunch of eggs in a sack. Can female bettas push eggs out on their own? Or do they have to be squeezed out by a male betta? They white things look like pretzel salt.

The male doesnt squeeze them out. Sounds like she may be eggbound and some are forcing their way out.
