I have read numerous times on here that if you have female betta's you should have at least four together. So if I decided on buying four famales what is the minimum size requirment that their tank should be? Thanks for the help :)

10 gallon is minimum for females

Put lots of plants in there and some caves for them to hide in (although saying that mine don't really bother with the cave and pots in mine). Give them time to settle in too as they need to sort out the pecking order so some nipped fins is inevitable. Keep watch though, if it gets too violent you'll need to think about separation.

Good luck, can't wait to see it set up :)

I agree with Joby...10 gal is the minimum. They really need their own space to stake out.

You can keep 1 all by herself if you'd like, or you can get a 10 gallon and add 4-6 females. 6 is really the magic number to having them get along, but 4 is the absolute minimum.

I have a 5 gallon with 4 female bettas in it and there all doing great! Just thought I would share :)
I wanted to set up a 10 gallon but it would not fit...

Well thank you everyone for all the helpful answers, can't wait to get the girls ;)
