I just wondered if it would be ok to put my female betta in with my guppies...some of the guppies are still pretty small...about 1/2 an inch, and they are in a 10 gal tank....or would it be better to put her in the 55 gal angel and cory tank...angels are half dollar sized.
Thanks,
:D

I read a post somewhere that says betta and angel fish is no-no. So I wouldn't try that. If you want to do guppies and betta, that might work. Guppies seem passive so if the betta wants to be the boss, she can with no problem.

ALOT DEPENDS ON THE PARTICULAR FISH. I HAVE A FEMALE BETTA WHO HAS TRIED TO KILL ANYTHING THAT SHE WAS PUT IN WITH. SHE OBVIOUSLY PREFERS HER PRIVACY. SHE IS MORE AGGRESSIVE THAN ANY OF MY MALES. WHATEVER YOU PUT YOUR BETTA IN WITH, WATCH THEM CLOSELY FOR AWHILE. IT SHOULDN'T TAKE LONG TO FIGURE OUT IF SHE IS HAPPY OR IF SHE DECIDES TO PERSONNALY GET RID OF HER ROOMMATES. :)
