Female betta community

I have a 25 Gallon tall and I was thinking about putting some female bettas in there. Right now I only have one black khuli loach, and one adf. But I know they should be in a group of 6 or more. But any suggestions. I plan on getting more black khuli loaches, and atleast one more ADF. But are there any more fish that could go with female bettas? Any thoughts?

I have some catfish with mine - absolute fine.
And in my other tank I have a large variety with a single female (she's a lot larger than the others in my other tank so dare not put her with them or she'll bully them) - and she's with platties, swordies, Rainbow fish, Rams and an assortment of loaches, catfish and also tetras. No nipping, fighting or hiding from anyone.
