Ok I have several inverts too feed and I want something that will do them all without boosting nitrates. I have a feather duster, a pistol shrimp, and i'm working on my mushroom population I have one polyp now, more too come. So what can I feed them, oh and I have a goby too that is friends with the shrimp...

Right now I'm doing plankton, is that good or should I try something else?

Have you tired Brine shrimp or Krill? There is many food sources available to your inverts and fish. And no food soiurce you add to your tank is going to be nitrate free. The trick is moderation. Dont add truckloads, and not 10 times a day either. Figure out what your specimens require, and feed accordingly. Or are you talking about supplements? Plankton?? Is that for your feather duster? What are you feeding your goby and shrimp?

Right now plankton is for everyone the frozen stuff comes in many sizes the l;arger plankton the goby get then a grind some up for the filter feeders.
