That's pretty much how my tank looks, except with small fish.  I can't even imagine what this must be like with your big fish!

same. my tank looks like this! same blue and yellow colours mine know when its feeding time and will take sticks from my hand

If you hold the food there long enough just above the water they come out to take it from you, They know for sure when it feeding time
