Okay, I have a pleko in a 30 gallon tank with a Male Beta. I think he's either a common or a Sailfin Pleko, but I can't get any pics here to find out for sure. My question is, for the Beta, I was told once every week or two weeks I should feed him some pieces of mushed up Pea to help with constipation. I did that this morning, and while he ate one or two peices, several pieces floated to the bottom, and I was wondering if it had the same effect on pleko's, because Tucker (Pleko) now seemed to be pooping an Aweful lot. I'm, talking, little strings all over his root stump statue thingy.

Should I try to clean some of it out with the fishnet, and should I be worried? I've never seen him poop like that before, but I've never given him pea's before either....

Hi, yes it does make them go more. I give my fish peas about once or twice a week. I think anymore could upset them. Common or Sailfin Plecos are big waste producers anyway, as I'm sure you have noticed! :)

Well, before Tucker was in a tank in my Fiance's room with his Oscar, but his oscar grew faster than Tucker and started picking on him, so thats why he got moved to the Beta tank. ^_^ Just wanted to make sure he wasn't like, dying or something. Thank you.
