Feeding Shrimp/prawn

I am looking at feeding shrimp/prawn to my plecs and other couple of bottom feeders but I am nt sure how to prepare it??

Do I buy frozen or fresh, chop it up or leave it whole??

Any help on this matter would be much appreciated!!

I defrost mine in a glass of hot water and then drop them in, i always remove the left overs in the morning (on the rare occasion that there is any)

You can buy fresh or frozen - either works. I usually buy fresh then freeze the leftovers. Like penny said, I defrost in warm water and then usually cut it up 1/2, 1/4, or 1/8 ALL of my bottom feeders have a go at it! Corries, loaches, my pictus' and even my Bristlenose.
