I added 5 RCS 4 days ago. I only see 2 at a time so either 3 died or they are really good at hiding. I guess I will find out during the water change this weekend.

My questions is about feeding. I put some bottom feeding algea wafers for the shrimp but the fish in the tank ended up eating it and the shrimp never came out to see it. Should I try it again? Do the shrimp need to be fed or will they get enough from left overs and algea?

I have two pieces of driftwood with java moss and anubious attached to them. When I see them they are feeding off the driftwood and also the center piece (fake).

Also when I do the water change this weekend is there anything I should do different to not hurt the shrimp?

When I added my RCS they all just seemed to feed OK. I had a bit of algae and I tended to drop some wafers in after half an hour of having lights off so the plec and shrimp would get a chance. But I always thought they would pretty much just feed off natural food int he tank?
