Feeding Plecs

currently feeding mine on cucumber and have started only leaving it in the tank until it gets bored and drifts away

tonight the plec has been stuck to it like glue for a few hours now

should i be feeding it once a day with cucumber or is that too much?

i ask if its too much because my tank is full of fish dung, and im not best pleased

the plec is only about 2-3 inches, i normall leave it in for a few hours and it eats a fair bit of it

with my BNs (3 at the time) i used to add a piece just before lights out, then by moring it would be gone, i used to feed it them once a week. there are others on hear that feed other veg, but i can't remember what

I don't feed cucumber that much, it's basically just water. Courgette is a better alternative I think. Then you can feed other vegetables like peas, broccoli, butternut squash and many other things.
