Hi. I wrote this post last night but it seems to have vanished or not worked.

I've got a 4" pleco (& growing), 2x 2 1/2" pleco and 3 x gold algae eaters.

I feed them about 1/2 - 1 handful of blanched brocoli, peas, silverbeet (green stuff) about every few days, maybe once a week. The next morning, they've eaten every little morsal of it.

I want to know if I should be feeding them this everyday or more often than I do.
I can't afford algae discs and that stuff so thats why they get vege. They obviously like it.
With this many plecos, is it safe or necessary to give them more vege. I don't wanna overfeed them and kill them or pulute my water with uneaten vege.
The only other food is dropped nutrifin flakes and algae growing on plants etc.

I'm asking before I go ahead, because I love my plecos and don't wanna make them sick but I don't wanna starve them either. I plan On keeping my growing pleco (apparantly it's a red spot????) until he gets big. By that time I should have another tank also. SO that's why I wanna keep them all healthy.
I really would appreciate any help you can give me :D
Thankyou, sushi.
