feeding neons

Hi all,

I have 5 neon tetras how often and what type of food should i be feeding them and roughly how much food at a time

aprreciate any replies

I feed mine flakes and once in a while daphnia.

My neons will eat ANYTHING they can get their little mouths on, including bloodworms, brine shrimp and even the cichlid pellets that are so big they just carry them around

Yup, my neon tetras will eat anything, including trying to eat the algae wafer I drop in for my Otos. It's quite a sight watching them move the wafer so that they can get at it more easily.
Flakes work well and so do freeze-dried bloodworms.
