Feeding My Pleco

okay sorry for another question on feeding pleco's, but I'm unsure if I'm feeding mine correct or even over feeding?

i try to feed my pleco cucumber every other day if not every day of the week and feeding him an algae pellet (he loves them) every other day if not every day also),

Is this to little or to much for a 6inch pleco, when i bought him he was faded slightly no sunken belly or eyes and i have noticed his colour got darker over the last few weeks, he is around 6inch long and i have had him for 3 months now love the guy

i was thinking feeding him his cucumber once a day but maybe change the type of veg every other day, i also thinking about feeding him 2 algae pellets aday is this to much? or just right i have no clue my pellets are around the width and length of i would say an average mans last third of a small finger, if you understand that

When I had my Pleco( about 6 inch) I started by giving every other day with wafers but after a while he lost interest in the cucumber. Then I changed to twice a week, I suppose it was better as he seemed to enjoy it more due to it not being a regular occurrence.

Cucumber has next to no nutritional value, use courgette instead.

My tank used to get it 3/4 times a week
