Feeding lionheads

I have 2 lionheads. I used to feed them along with my other goldfish with floating pellets. My lfs told me that it's not recommended to feed them with floating food as the pompom heads would be in contact with the air and their heads with turn white and this may cause some diseases. he recommends sinking food.

Do anyone use a special technique?

maybe u could wet ur floating stick so that iwould sink? or u could buy flakes andthen soak it so that it would sink

I have a tank with two lionheads and they are such little pigs! I feed mine Wardley flakes and the occasional floating pellet. They seem to like it just fine.
