Hi,

Just bought some frozen bloodworm cubes. How do i feed them. I have one Betta that i want to feed on them. If i defrost a whole cube thats far too much for him to eat. Can I refreeze the remains after i have defrosted them or not?

What does everyone else do?

Matt

Would not recommend refreezing as they will prob go off and give your fish food poising. What i do is wrap up the blocks in some plastic fod bags and break up with a rolling pin. Best to do when the girlfriend/wife is out as they get a bit annoyed about worms in the kitchen

You can also cut off an appropriate size piece with a sharp knife.

ok cool thanks. Just out of curiousity. How many worms should i feed him per meal?

Matt

I do what Tolak suggested and then thaw it in a bit of warm water in a little condiment dish, and use tweezers to feed. A couple of worms is enough for each feeding. I do a couple of feedings of bloodworms in a day, but only every few days. They're just a supplement to my betta's diet.
