Feeding Filter Shrimp

i know you have do feed them fine foods but i wanna know, can i just squirt the food into the water and let them do their thing? or do i have to find every single filter shrimp in my tank and squirt food at them? the trouble is, you can't feed them when they're not filter feding. so can i just squirt in the food?

You should have a perch for them to stand on in front of the filter outlet with high current either a piece of driftwood or strong stem plant would do. You need to see them feeding naturally and squirt directly into the current of the filter pump outlet so that it travels straight to them a couple of times over the course of ten minutes is best.
