I have 6 juvenile leopard snakeskins (around 10cm length body without counting the tail).
They are still settling in the tank, as they have been in there for just over 2 weeks.
You can see the rest of the population in my signature.

I have been feeding them three times a day.
Once with frozen (alternating beefheart, misys shrimp and bloodworms) and twice flake/granules
They get the occasional treat of live food (at least once a week)

Now I'm switching to twice frozen and once flake/granules and will buy a slab of frozen enriched brine shrimp to increase variety

Do you think I should get vitamins/supplements to add to the frozen food?

Any other suggestions?

They are my first discus, and I have been reading a lot before getting them, but I think there is always more to learn, especially from people who have real experience with them.

hi there. i add a couple of drops of garlic guard to the frozen food of my discus once a week to help prevent stress, white spot and bacterial infections. hope this helps

No need to add anything. Just keep the water really clean how often do you do wc?

I would add some type of veggie flakes to the mix. Discus need their greens too for a well balanced diet.

I do a weekly 25% changes. I prepare more, but 25% has been sufficient so far.
Yesterday before I changed I measured 30ppm nitrate.

That is bound to go down because I have added plants, and started siphoning the gravel.

I mix three parts of RO water with one part of conditioned tap water, for a general hardness of 12 and a carbonate hardness of 5

I will start dropping veg (cucumber, courgette anth the like) for the bristlenoses. Will they pick at that?

Also live food is going to be stepped up once the cultures I have bought get going.
