I'm wondering if my 2 corys are getting enough food though they seem fine but when I feed flakes or bloodworms the others seem to get most of it as the corys don't seem to care as they're too busy at the end of the tank. Maybe they get what falls to the bottom??

Feed at night, when lights are off and while the other fish sleep. Get a sinking pellet.

+1 corys will eventually get there. don't forget they also eat leftovers but that should never be their diet. as tizer said try supplimenting their diet at night with sinking pellets and for treats bloodworm. My corys love it

+1! sinking pellets are great for corys and as tizer said, if you feed at night you can be sure they will get some!!

yup 1 or 2 pellets each should be ok. corys will eat leftovers as mentioned so what the don't eat straight away won't be left in the tank for long polluting your water!! just a thought...are you thinking of adding any more corys?? they are generally happier in groups of 4+. might be something to think about if you have room.

How many pellets should you drop? 1 each ? or a small handfull?

How old are the corys, how big are the corys, what pellets are they, how big are they?

Start off with a couple, if they look fat in a few weeks time, cut down, if they look thin, give them more more. Common sense wins.

Thanks a million for your help guys! I'm not sure how old they are. The albino looks full grown, he was a neighbours unwanted pet, he looks to be about 2 inches. We bought the pepper about a month ago and looks around 1.5 inches. (Suuuper cute!) I'd love to add to their numbers but my tank is only 10 gal and I already have 3 platys, 1 molly and my daughter wants a dwarf gourami or something similar. What do you think, would I have room? The food I got them today is Hikari sinking wafers.

If the pellet is bigger than the head of an eraser, no more than 1 pellet per day, otherwise you will be over feeding and polluting your substrate.

the wafers you bought will be fine. if they are quite large just feed them 1 at a time. you could break it in half if you don't think they'll share nicely!! lol. don't think you would have room for much more in your tank tbh. at least you have more than 1!! let us know how you get on with the wafers!!

The pellets are quite small so I'll pop some in and keep an eye on proceedings. :good:
