Can I feed him Canadian crawlers? Or what ever they're called... Would they breed off of that, just curious? Am I able to feed them vegies? So far it's been flakes and worms.. -_- These worms for 4 dollars for a 24 cup, and I feed it probably 1-2 times a day...

If they eat them it might work but i find traditional live foods like bloodworm, glass worm, brine shrimp, and daphnia work best for conditioning fish to spawn.
Corys do not need vegies in their diet though they may occasionally nibble on pieces of cucumber or courgette

:( I wasted money on the worms? I cut them up and they eat them, the worms are somewhat huge and they enjoy eating them. I think it will help them breed :(.... Why wouldn't they breed, it's live food and it's worms. Actualy it's night crawlers? :-(

In my opinion its more important to get the water conditions right for them to breed, but good food helps. Ive tried with the live food and cold water changes and failed my water is mega hard, id test hardness before you embark on cory breeding.

:p HellllllllllllllO people :p

My corries just layed about 125 eggs in one area. They were not sticky nor hard to get off , in fact they were more hard than sticky. I placed them into a Jar of fish water with a 1,500 powered bubbler not gallon wize, what ever the 1,500 means. The only problem I don't got an air stone, any suggestions? What do I feed them and when do I start feeding them? It took 3 in half days just to get them to lay eggs... Please people, lol :)

I found the best food for bringing any fish in to spawning condition is the common or garden earth worm, and catfish and cichlids especially love them.
Just chop them up to a suitable size for your fish and wash all the soil away they have inside them.
Make sure you don't use worms from a compost heap though, they are a bit acidic.

That's almost exactly what I used, But Canadian Drawlers, which is alot fater and has more meat.. lol Some of the eggs hatched and you see them looking like tad poles,

How do you cut up those worms? I don't even like touching them or needling them through fishing needles... Yuck... :D

But I do want to breed cories... :D

Would vinegar eel or baby brine shrimp work as well for conditioning the grown-ups?
