I just got some bloodworms. It's in a package thing, you know like pellet gum where you just pop it out of the thing? It's in one of those things. I can't see anything but it's all red, and frozen. How do I feed it to my bettas?

Thaw it out (let it set out for a day) then if it looks like real worms (long strigy nasty thing) then hold a part of it in the water after you rinse the worm off then hold one end in the tank and watch the betta gobble it up.

hmm I have some freeze dried bloodworms in a lil dispenser like tic tacs... and i usually just shake some in the tank. I've never seen the frozen ones.

My LFS has them in a freezer with brine shrimp and such. Want to see a picture? :p

Place one of the frozen cubes in a fine mesh fish net and run tapwater through it to thaw them out. I feed them using a pair of tweezers when feeding surface fish like Hatchets/Epiplatys species. If you are careful enough you can suspend some worms on the top of the water using the surface tension.
