Do you feed your betta any other food, other than pellets, freeze dried or frozen foods?

i fed mine pizza crust one time but every one scolded me for it so it was only a one time thing. peas are good for them :D

baby crayfish.........1/2 meal worm.........baby cricket....... sum wierd insect i found in the backyard......that's what i usually fed them.......

Thanks. I read about the pizza crust, that was interesting. :X

I give mine fleas sometimes. I am at the tail end of an infestation, so I still see them sometimes. The fish love them. I also give them peas every once in a while to help clean out their system. There is someone on here feeding maggots to them. Bettas love live food.

Yeah I was the nerd cooking like 12 peas with my lunch the other day. Just 12 little peas in a saucepan. They do love peas. I have them to my comets too, they love veggies.

Mine eat cucumbers some lettuce, but not iceburg. You have to take out the seeds before you feed them cucumbers, and that's just my goldies, not my bettas.

could bettas eat small peices of frozen shrimp you get at the store? an could they eat small pieces of krill??
