So I have 7 koi angles 4 Cory cats and 2 patty’s in my tank and they are always at the top of the tank looking for food. Mentally I want to feed them a few times a day I know that’s wrong but I am asking how often do I feed them. I give them a mix of sera color and tropical flakes as there main food. Freeze dried brine shrimp once ever two weeks and sometimes they will eat some of the pellets I toss in for the Cory cats. My fish don’t eat on Sundays. Just wondering what people think. They eat everything that goes into the tank or at least try and eat it. First time keeping angels.

I feed my neon tetras 5 times a week and then 2 days of fasting.

I feed my betta the same way.

I feed once a day and 6 times per week. On Sundays I don't feed them

What size tank do you have? I'd love to see a picture of the setup.

yes sure it’s a 45 tall I guess planted with probably to much filtration but I tend to side with to much then not enough

Is that gravel in the tank?

Cory cats need to have sand, so they can forage for food. Also, the gravel can/could damage their barbels.

Yeah it’s smooth gravel they have been living it for over a year and are doing great.
Will you please post a close up picture of the gravel?

Even if it is “smooth”, they still don’t prefer it. They need sand, as they have it naturally. If they don’t have sand, their barbels could get damaged, or nocked off.

I feed once a day 6 times a week (sometimes I have 2 fast days instead of just one)
