Feeding Amano Shrimp

Okay. Had 2 for almost a week, they seem happy enough eating flakes for my fish which landed at the bottom. But having no plants in my tank I was concerned about the lack of algae they were getting.

Went into my lfs and they gave me some small catfish pellets to try. Are they actually okay with these?

If you think you haven't enough algae in the tank for them you could grow some.
Just put a small piece of slate or wood, in a bowl of tank water on a sunny window ledge, in a few days you'll have some green algae on them.
You can also use those ceramic rings that plants often come in
I grow it for my Oto's, but the shrimp are all over it when I put it in.
They'll also eat the wafers & any other fish food, or you could get them some Hikari shrimp cuisine, all my shrimp love that
