hey guys

I was just wondering why 90% of the new feeder minnows I just purchased died withint 2 hours. i have a 5 gallon tank with active filter and I have diluted some Ick Guard in it. The water seems a bit colder but I figured it was okay... I heard they have alot of diseases... im using them to feed my turtle.

When I took them out of the tank, many of them presented bloody bodies... A few got stuck in the suction of the filter...

By the way, this is not my first time keeping cold water fish. I have a dozen or so 10" Kois swimming around my 100 Gallon tank lol.

Thanks

Custy, I have answered your question in your other thread you created (try to keep make just one post instead of posting the same questions of multiple boards).

Is that a sick joke or something?

No, it is not a joke. I do have dozen of Koi. Maybe the fish I bought were bad quality; it was a new shop in town and my original shop is under renovation.

How many fish in the 5 gallon? It can barely hold one never mind more than that.
Your turtle is on a pretty poor diet if all it gets are unhealthy fish to eat. Bit like you sitting eating mac donalds all day.
Yes a dozen koi are a dozen too many for a 100 gallon tank.
