hey pplz got my hands on a small tank
Length = 9 inch
Width = 6 inch
Hight = 7.5 inch

and i would like to keep around 20-30 feeder fish in it ??
do u rekon this would be safe and if so what do i need to keep them

plz dont say a heater

btw ive got an airstone in their

and what water conditions do it need ?

Thats only about 2g. NO! Even if they are feeders, in such a small tank, disease will spread v. quickly and they will hardly have room to move.

ummmm .5 a feeder if you are going to raise them. 200 dead ones if you want alot. 10 if they going to be gone within a few days
yeh wanna feed em to my oscurs
so probley get 10 to start off with see how they go

feeder goldfish arent really healthy for your fish.if you want nutritous feeders with no diseases, you can set up a 20 gallon or bigger with a crap load of java moss and get like 7 guppies in there. by the end of the month you have so many you wont know what to do with them. you ever try fun feeders? they seem fun :lol:

hi i have the same problem
i would like to set up a 5-10 gal with
8 minows
6 female guppies
2 male guppies
is that good
what equiptment do yopu need
ps these fish would go in my tank(some awsome guppies)
or mostly eaten for my bros affrican under water frogs
some will stay in the tank so they will breed

all those fish for a 5 gallon is way too much, it might be ok in a 10 gallon, but the guppies will reproduce like crazy, 1 male for every 3 females, that is a crazy ratio

Those fun feeders are wrong...so was that video :p That tank had at least 5 large oscars in it, plus other fish :crazy:

Lust: Oscars aren't picky fish, and you can keep them healthy by feeding pellets or sticks, they would probably do better on that diet than on a diet of feeders ;)

EDIT: If you want to see your oscar eat live food, buy some crickets from a petstore :thumbs:
