How often should I feed my cichlids? Earlier I was feeding them twice a day. But then the water started becoming very dirty. Now I am feeding them once a day. Water is good. But will it effect their growth? They are about 2 inches big.

depends on the species of cichlid and the size of the tank they are in. I feed my grow outs in my 29s twice a day, but I also do twice weekly water changes. it all boils down to this though: what speices, how much you feed them at one feeding, the amount of water changes per week and the size of the tank

Details of my tank are as below:

I feed them a mixture of pallets, tetra bits, frozen blood worms. I feed them about five teaspoons.
It gets eaten with in two-three minutes
I have a pair each of oscars, texas cichlids, severams, parrots, walking cats, high fin cats, one firemouth
Water change weekly 50%
I have two internal filters rated for 2000 lph with sponges and bio balls.
Tank 125 gal.

Thats a lot of fish even with good maintenance and big water changes. IMO I would only keep the oscars and possibly one or two others or lose the oscars and keep the rest. Your fish are fine now at only 2 inches but those oscars will be a foot long before you know it. That being said for fish that size I would probably be feeding 2x a day if it were me. Some of your fish have MUCH bigger appetites than others so its tricky.
