Looks like 4 to me but yes you are right. i've been dishing out POTM's left right and centre, and off-hand recall a budgie I nominated (and received a second nomination) that the ownder didn't put up here. Anyway - there are some quality ones this month, so it's still going to be difficult to decide

Yes, there are 4, but I wasn't going to throw mine in - hence I only counted 3 that were submitted. I only decided to put her in because there were so few.

I can start going through the topics and finding nominations again, but that takes a long time.

yeah i can imagine that's a lot of work..... could we maybe use the report to moderator function for this, I'm not sure exactly how it works but I assume a message pops up somewhere for the mods to see. So if when we nominate someone we hit the report button then you could just save up the reports and put them up when the time comes round??

That could work, however, then all the mods would get a message and most of them do not want to be involved in POTM. I suppose if you see a thread with two nominations, PM me and I'll put it in my POTM folder. Then, when the time comes to make a poll, I'll check them out and add them in.

fair enough, i wasn't sure exactly how the reporting system worked.

i'll do my best to remember to pm you with potm nominations, I dont know how people could forget though, maybe I'm just sad but I got really really giddy when Miss Mittens got nominated!!

I understand you don't want to go through all threads, but would you mind going through some?
If not a lot of people actually entered the potm themselves it might be worth using the search function of the forum to search for 'potm' in the household section for 60 days and newer. It will still be some work, but less than going through all threads.
