i recently got a lovely 6 inch featherfin. beautiful fish but it seems to spend quite a lot of the time upside-down. is this normal?

i have 3 in my tank growing out and they all seem to do this if they're up against a rock or piece of wood. thats about the only time i see them upside down.

Yup, mines out and about a lot and goes upside down whenever he swims under a big leaf or bit of wood.

Yup mine go upside-down a lot too.
They are one of the common synos labelled as upside down catfish
