Featherfin Catfish

Hi there.

Im rescuing an adult Featherfin Catfish from someone who has it in a 15G. I was planning to put in in my 50G which will spoil the "American" theme I have going but I think its the best place. Current stocking is in my Signiture. Can anyone see any potential issues?

my syno eupt is in my 15 gallon (bought him with intentions to move him into my 50gal after a few months, but has stayed to overcome disease) w/ neon tetra's & there has not been any problems at all. He was a little teritorail w/ a small Gold Nugget plec, but that faded away once they figured each other out. pretty cool fish when i get to see him & he is not hiding! once his dorsal fin grows back he will be rehommed in my 50gallon

Spoil the american theme? correct me if im wrong but im sure gourami are asian anyway , i see no problems, my partners dad keeps a mature one in a 30g with all sorts of small community fish, its the biggest wimp in the tank just dont add any others of the same species.

Dam it! Of course you are right and I knew that . Was planning to move 2 Gourami to the 20G and on 2 the 30G this weekend. Might not bother now though!

No problem lets face it, half the fun of owning fish is that you can create communities never found in nature, aslong as they go well together, whats the harm?
