I have a beautiful Featherfin Catfish which I would like to give to a good home who can accommodate his size and needs.

Reason being he/she is too big for my tank and is causing distress to the other tank mates because he dashes around. I am worried for his safety also as he sometimes damages himself in his frenzy. He generally needs more space. Featherfin, being so fast and furious, steals all the food from my other bottom dwellers-especially my Common Pleco.

Having adopted my Featherfin I do not know how old he is, and not sure what sex it is, but I have had him for about 5 years myself.

Age and condition: Unsure of age, but in good condition. No scrapes from fighting with Pleco at the moment but this does happen from time to time. Approx 8" long
Quantity for sale: 1
Reason for Sale: As stated above
Delivery or Collection: Collection only please
Sales price: Free to a loving home.
Postage & Packaging: N/A
Location: Reading, Berkshire UK
Photograph: Added (sorry if the quality is not the best!)

All negotiations and questions must be posted in this sales thread and NOT by PM.

I would be sad to see him go, but pleased that he could live in a bigger tank where he can be happy and less stressed.

Thank you.

oh dear, no body wants my fishie :-(

i guess there are so many that get too big for tanks, such a shame. I dont know what to do about it. Have asked around at work and friends, really dont want to give back to a LFS...

if you ever find yourself heading west along the M4 I'd be happy to meet up halfwayish? I've got a Rio400 he could go in

what else would be in the Rio400 with him?

I didnt really want him to have a long journey as he has moved quite a bit in his life....so bit reluctant...
