hi i am new to this sort of fish keeping and was recently recomended a feather duster for my new set up. i dont really know much about them yet. i have had it about a week now and today have seen that it has 2 crowns (i think thats what they are called) in one tube is this normal. i also have been looking them up online and can only find info that says they are tan coloured but mine is yellow can someone please tell me if this is normal many thanks

There are plenty of tube animals that filter the water column for their nutrition. introducing baby brine or phyto into the water column (x times per week depending on how big the duster is) will feed the dusters as they will grab the food out of the water with their tenticles and pull it to the tube where it will be digested.

I did a single search for pictures on google using "marine feather duster" and got a whole bunch of different looking dusters. Whether they are all dusters or another form of tube worm I don't know, but there were tons of variations in colors so check that out and see if you see anything that matches yours
