Feather Dusters

Hi there peeps, i got 2 feather dusters last week 1 green 1 brown, they look all fine and healthy when i came home on saturday i found that my small green feather, the tube had shed/been nipped off the on the end about 5mm, is this the feather shedding a bit of tube or my flame angel nipping at it. Also is it safe now that the end of the tube is open and exposed, i didnt know if the end drops off to allow the duster to grow please help just for reassurance

Dw sounds normal. I got 2 and one was fine yet my pink and white one dissapeared completely like lost 2cm of tube! Now its growing back out of the rockwork nicely! Just give it a week or so.

I recieved a feather duster several weeks ago almost entirely lacking a tube. So I placed a piece of airline tubing near him and he crawled into it. It worked for a while, but he later lost his head and is now lost in the rocks. I can thank the turbo snail for that.
