Feather Duster Come Out

is it normal for a feather duster to come out of its tube?
or is it dead?

Is it a new addition? Apparantly feather dusters will sometimes abandon their tube when introduced to a new system to construct a new one.

If not could it of out grown the old tube?

It is normal it is either moving out as its old tube is too small or it just wants a change of scenery. Also if it reproduces its offspring will float off to colonize somewhere else

it did appear a little limp looking and went in hiding in my castle, will it stay there?
