:p Ok, I have a few questions

I really am interested in finding bullhead minnows, or fathead as they call it, they are all the similar strain, just different colors. Anywho, I have a 10 gallon and a 2.5 ready for use. I was planning on ordering them online or maybe even finding them in my stream outback of my home. My question is Should I order them online or go to my local fish store which has rosy reds under the "Feeder Fish" Tanks. I know the ones at my local fish store will most likely have disease due to overcrowding etc. So im just wondering if I should go to a local bait shop and purchas them there (I saw them before in large rearing tanks). OR should I attempt to locate a school of them in my stream, (if there is any).

I also was thinking perhaps ordering them over the mail, if I do, Will most of them die during the journey?

Any Help would be appriciated

Don't believe in getting fish from the wild, but if you did, you would have to get a lot of the stream water, test ph of stream water as you will need to know that to acclimatise them properly plus temp.

Well, if you live in the country and get your water from a well and catch the reds close to where you live you shouldn't have any problem with it. Of course, it shouldn't be a problem buying them from the bait shop or pet store either, as they are pretty sturdy fish. They go great in ponds too lol.
