Yes, I have two, I don't know how to tell male and female, but this one is about twice the size of the other. This is recent too, he/she looked normal a couple days ago and just got that bulge.

you have to vent them. i have never had salvinis but you can look it up on yahoo. "salvini cichlid sexing" or something of that sort. once you sex ur fish, if you have a male and female you can observe them for characteristics

I believe the female Salvini have a black spot on their gill plate, and black markings on their Top Dorsal fin. Hope this helps.
