fat pictus!

hi there

I have just fed my fish bloodworm for the first time. my lfs said that the bag he sold me was enough for one feed (it was live) and that it would be fine for all my tank mates.

well... the gourami's picked at a few but other than that the pictus ate the lot he is so fat he looks like he has swallowed a marble . this does not look comfortable, he is still hunting for the odd one that got away!

so, i suppose my question is... is this normal or should I be panicing?

my neons do a similer thing when feed tublifex

there bellys get almost as big as they are lol

but generally a day later they back to how they was before

To onest m8 i would give froozen foods rarther than live foods (unless u breed the live food your self) because of the risk of infection from live foods bought from lfs are astonomical

hey but thats my opinion others may have differnent opinions

Anyone else have any comments? Particularly on feeding fish live food (daphina and bloodworm?).....

My pictus is letting its dinner go down now btw.... sat at the bottom of the tank hovering side to side who ate all the pies!
