Place Morris and Galema in the tank on Sunday... was checking for fry, and err Morris seems to be rather fat for a fish that has not been fed in four days :(

Check for white poo. It's a tell tale sign of egg eatery.

But, he might have been eating those that weren't fertilized, or just not 'right' in his opinion.

Hope he was just eating un-fertilized ones. My red CT male had a ton of eggs in his nest the weekend and ate so many of them overnight that he could barely get off the bottom of the tank! He looked like a weeble

Lots of white poop in the tank the next morning but at least 7 fry still there which he's looked after well. So I guess you just have to trust daddy even though its so frustrating to see the eggs go missing :/

Good luck :)

 Beasty! Awww bless. Think I'd feel a little narked if Daddy was eating all them eggs too tho. Not that I ever stop feeding any of my guys. :*) And they leave all babies alone. :p
Hugs,
P.

 I hope Daddy didn't eat the good eggs! I noticed Maui was extremely fat the day after they spawned, but I ended up with 350 healthy fry... so, hopefully your Dad was just getting rid of the "bad eggs". mehe.

Not sure what he was eating. Maybe there were no eggs.... but this spawn resulted in no fry.

Thanks Joby.

You win some, you loose some. Another pair going in the Breeding Tank tonight :D

I find it strange when people call me by my handle (well you chose the handle) ... well it is an acronym of my full name (and so?) ... the law firm I started out with called all of us by our acronyms (you guys are a strange bunch)... anyway, my nickname is Robin.
