farowalla

nevermind found what i needed to know, except for if they are able to go in a cichlid tank or not? i am guessing no but i was jsut wondering it anybody knew?
Or if anyone has experience with farowalla in a cichlid tank?

It depends what type of cichlids you want to put them with, farlowellas do best with more peaceful fish, so rams, apistos and discus would all be fine choices :) but i wouldn't recommend putting them with anything more aggresive and active such as oscars since they don't cope too fell with the high levels of waste in the water and will tend to shy away

also, how big is the tank?

my tanks size is 40 gallons and it is an african cichlid tank with yellow lab. 3 chinuni, and three unidentified (juviniles). From the info i looked at they need a max tank size of 35 gallons and shouldn't be kept in groups as they can become agressive with eachother. But from what you are saying i don't see them doing to well in an african tank.... am i right in assuming this?

Yes, i would stick away from a farowella in an african tank
