Recently, I've heard of people saying on the web that twig cats (Farlowella gracilis) are notorius for dieing for no reason and are hard to care for, is this true? My twig cat seems to be doing ok but it doesn't move much.

they can be sensative when you first get them, but after they have settled in they are tough as old boots. They can live for years and usually do. Just make sure the water quality is good and there is some algae on the glass and driftwood in the tank.

my farlowellas sit in the same spot for days just moving inches back and forth once in a while to eat something,
sometimes i see them on the bottom eatting a shelled pea or blood worm... they dont do much else lol
