I rearranged so things in my 55g lastnight including a water change, twig was there
but this morning he is gone. I looked around all of the plants, wood and on the floor
where could he be????
has anyone ever had one do this or could he bury himself??
any help would be nice thx

i wouldnt worry too much. Did u look inside yur filter? also did u look around the tank? My pleco goes missing sometimes too but he always turns up in teh end

yah I looked in the filter behind the filter tube, ever started to run my hand threw the
gravel but no luck. This fish is over 6 inches long so not a lot of places for him to hide
I sure hope he shows up had him for 2.5 years and love him, plus hard to replace in the area I am from
???? ????

inside the bogwood is one of the possabilities that we thought of last night, I lifted the wood yesterday but didn't closely inspect it. hopfully he will turn up like oddball said.
looked this morning still no twig

well gave up, twig will not be comming back, been 14 days still no fish.
so went out and replaced him. new farlowella still floating in the tank, hope he
does alright, has a bit of clamped fin, but should be fine.
will always wonder what happened to the original Twig fish

hes probly in there somewhere. They are nocturnal right? what else do u have in that tank
