new twig fish has white spots that really look like ich but have never heard of
them getting ich. is this a possability....

Hi...I don't think ich is too selective. I don't see why your cat would be immuneto it if not previously infected. If the fish has what looks like salt was shaked on it, I think you have to assume it is ich. SH

I had one that died because of ich, so, yes, they can get ich
