fancy koi

has anyone here ever seen fancy koi? i went to thailand last summer, and in bangkok there is a weekly market (which is HUGE). they had a fish section, and on display they had huge koi, with long fancy tails and beautiful colors. they weren't for sale, apparently they were show kois. anyone here have any or seen them in the US (or the UK)?

I have seen them.
Here in the uk they are known as butterfly Koi.

yep i'ved seen them before and personally i hate all long finned breds of fish or fancy fins like fancy goldfish.

it doesn't look natural at all.

florida hold lots of koi shows and as far as i can remember theres another one in january. maybe you can search for it on the net and see if theres a show near you. ive seen some pics and the butterfly koi looks lovely.
