Fancy A Laugh ?

I wish I could mate lol , you obviously havn't met my Mrs, I think it would have looked great downstairs. Need to get the netbook issue seen to, get the phine synched up, hope it looks good with the background when it's done, looking forward to seeing the Trophs in there bigger home.....
Think I have a hernia now, ouch

Oh, believe me, I still have to hear it now and then. We don't really sit in the living room unless someone comes into the house, we have a very long kitchen and have half of it sectioned off so we can sit in it. The kids mainly have the living room.
I do sit in the living room when I'm on my own and maybe for about two hours in the evening when the kids go to bed we sit in there but all I hear is "all you do when your in here is watch them bloody fish" this will happen every day for around a week then it stops for a while.

Its a small price to pay, I like it, the kids like it too. She prefers the other tanks in the house as they have a few livebearers in them and fry too.

Women, sorry, most I've come across, like to have a moan. Give them something to moan about and they're happy.

I have a joke about moaning, but it's not clean enough to print here

Tank probably better in the front room with the two 4' anyway, that's where I do most of my chillin', bloody sore now though, old age creeping up

Cheers, Sean :good:

Have I read this right, you have 2 x 4 foot tanks and 1 x 6 foot tank? Water change day must be fun!! I'm getting moaned at by my husband about the Tang tank as it looks 'boring and bare'. My 120l is high tech planted and he wants the 4 footer to be the same - not a chance!

I too felt like something was missing after having the planted tropical tank but after a couple of weeks I got to the point where the behaviour of the fish outweighed the 'bare' look of the Tang tank, now I actually prefer the Tang tank compared to the setup of the Malawi tank.
You`ll probably find that once you`ve got the stocking sorted and that the tank is the way you want it in relation to the peace between tankmates, you`ll both be able to sit back and enjoy the Tangs the way they should be enjoyed.
Liam was very.....how can I say it..... 'unimpressed' when I first set the tank up until I added the punks, then he started to really enjoy it because of their behaviour and colour. Now he`s more impressed because the cyps are colouring up really well too :good:

The main benefit for me with the bareness of the Tang tank compared to planted is that cleaning it takes me half the time that it used to and that always has to be a HUGE benefit   :D :D

It's offical , I am a complete diddy, a plonker , an official memeber of the spoon family . . .

Ok, now tell us something we didn`t already know

Sounds like you`ve been having fun.....Not! Glad you finally managed to get the cabinet sorted without doing any serious damage to yourself, I`m looking forward to seeing some pics of the new setup :D :D

Someone came to my aid, must have took all of thirty seconds to lift tank on top of cabinet, put lid on and slide it in where the wardrobe used to be :good:
Looks MASSIVE , dwarves the roma240 and the shop counter190
Should start the background tomorrow night then Friday or Sunday , egg crate, sand rocks from the 240, filter set up, water etc, ouch , it's gonna be a long shift
Scared to add water :good:
Cheers, Sean

Where do you get your egg crate from kiriyama? I'm looking some so I can tie some moss to it.

Thanks.

Have a wee look on fleabay, also I think Elisew got some from Homebase or B&Q, it was drainage grates but done the job, the stuff I got was from Warehouse Aquatics, but I wouldn't recomend it, Marine Grade but very expensive for a sheet :grr:

Tying moss to some of the thinner drain cover stuff would look great, nice idea :good:

Cheers, Sean
