the thing is my new fan tail has got it, only had him 6 month, i done the treatments like before even tryed peas what can i do or what is causing it,

any advice please thanks

It could well be genetic like dipsy said, but just to rule other possibilities out...

How did you set the tank up ready for the new addition?

What are your current tank readings?

How big is the tank and how big is the fish?

Goldfish are VERY inbred nowadays. They tend to be alot less hardy than in previous generations, meaning that even though previous generations could handle less than ideal conditions, that isn't to say the newer ones can.

I'm not saying that I'm presuming your conditions aren't ideal... I'm just saying that it's the reason I'm asking about water params and tank size etc. Just so it can be ruled out. :)
