Well, I'm finally close to getting the cycle problem on my tank done with. I'm happy with what I have for fish at the moment, knowing I can add more when I know the cycle is fully complete.
Well, today my sister came over w/ my two nieces and a belated birthday present!
3 Female guppys and 3 Ottos. 
I had to give her and my oldest niece a good lecture on "cycling" because I am intending (they don't know it yet) to get them a tank for christmas.
It's just frustrating. At least they were female guppys and not more males that would harras my three femalesl...
