I was just chatting to the guy in my LFS and he said if you can't afford all the l live rock you want then just buy as much as you can afford and get some other normal rock and it will "seed" over time

Is this true or not? This guy has never let me down in the past.

yup, it should seed over time, not sure how long though

Thats true. Beware though it takes at least 6-12 months for it to become really live. Stock slow and things will be allright
