My syno eupterus all of the sudden became super active. I was having some algae problems and recently ended up sucking up about half of the sand and replacing it, cleaned the tank, and added two snails, since then my tank has been really clean. I added a few cory's the other day and now my usually mellow mannered syno is all over the tank (with the light on). no signs of any disease either

the syno is about 7 inches - he went from 1 to 7 inches in 6 months!
I have heard that if these guys out grow their tank they start to freak out, but the tank is mildly stocked
is this normal or should i be worried?
