is there anyway to help a dying vampire shrimp who got attacked after molting? Is there anything I can do to help him heal?

it looks like his filters have been damaged bad and he might be missing legs.... he can barely hold onto my finger, and can't hold onto rock, and it looks like some flesh may be missing from his front.

Okay. the quicker the better if you have any advicem because even the glowlite tetra are biting his wounds now. I put him in the cave and covered the cave with the net to keep them out. faster is better.

 Ok, this doest sound good All you can do really is temporarily put him in a separate tank with cover so he can hide away, a filter(mature or do 100% daily water changes) ect and tank water, and maybe dose some liquid calcium and half strength melafix (just in case melafix is too strong for exposed flesh). If he makes the night start dosing marine invert filter food and do a 50% water change before adding more to stop the water going bad.
Thats what i would do anyway, good luck :good:.

So what do you think attacked him?

I know what attacked him because I had to knock it out of his mouth. The senegal.

he might be dead but I'm unsure.... Earlier he would at least use his three remaining legs to cling to my finger, and now he won't. I got him into a breeder net, and on a closer look it looks like part of his flesh is missing inside the shell..... so that's not good.....

we'll see in the morning when he's hardened from the molt...

but DANG I didn't think a vampire shrimp could get hit like that...

I hope you gave the senegal a stern telling off . I take it the shrimp had mouldted before, but this time just got unlucky? Poor thing :( .
