I was wondering if any of you large catfish owners have ever seen this before. I recently got two gulper cats froma distributor. They act normal and have been eating. The one however seems to have a 1 cm long thing coming from its back fin. It is so skinny it resembles soem kind of worm. I would take a picture but they have been shy and like to hide in my wood during the day. Any information would be greatly appreciated, especially on ways to treat it. I'm sure these guys were wild caught so who knows what it could be.
Ok, so now its gotten worse. I believe its an anchor worm. So not too much of a big deal, just a pain. But, they now have a tannish-yellow ring on their sides. the on is a ring and teh other is a complete circle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
