External Filter

Im thinking of changing my filter to an external filter and wanted a bit of advice please. I have a interpet 64 litre fish box which has a piece cut out of the back of the lid but is not the full length of the lid (there is a few inch of plastic on each side of the lid) I was looking at the tetratec ex600 http/www.charterhouse-aquatics.co.uk/catalog/tetratec-ex600-external-filter-p-1413.html. has anybody got any experience wuth these as its alot of money to spend to discover its not suitable or can anybody recommend something similar please?

Also was looking at the fluval 105. The gap at the back of my tank is 1.5 inch so not sure if there's room for the tubes

Hi JenJen. The TetraTEC externals are excellent. The 600 would be adequate for your tank, but consider spending a little extra and get the 700.

Do you have 1 yourself please? I'm just asking as not sure if the pipes would fit in the gap at the back of my tank? Thanks

Would a ex1200 be overkill on my 64ltr tank please???
